Lean the heel of the blade on the desired angle of the sharpening angle guide in a perpendicular or slightly angled position to the stone. Push the blade away from you, repeating this stroke several times, and then place the Angle Pyramid guide on the other end of the stone to sharpen the other side of your blade. Pull the blade toward you, repeating this stroke the same number of times as you did on the opposite side of your blade.
